David Alan's Marketplace has been pleasing people from East Hanover, New Jersey (and others from outside of New Jersey) with a unique lunch experience for the past 15-plus years!

David Alan's Marketplace opened its doors in 2002 in East Hanover right off Route 10. Initially starting as a small deli, David Alan's Marketplace soon became a local favorite of the people of NJ and the early morning commuters. As David Alan's Marketplace popularity grew, so did its size and variety over the years. 

Our Food

We've been perfecting our restaurant since 2002, but we like to think of ourselves as lifetime students when it comes to making great food. We're always testing and pushing the limit, trying out new things to make sure our menu grows with us while keeping the old classics just as they are. This food philosophy has brought us some of our favorite sandwiches, like our Empire State, Essex, Throgsneck, and more. We also have vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and build-your-own options: we want every customer to leave full, no matter what.
